To place an order, simply click on the ‘Add to Cart' button alongside the appropriate book title. You can use the ‘Shopping Cart' button at the very top of the page to view the contents of your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping, click to pay, and you will be asked to register and enter your delivery information and your payment details. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed containing the details of your order.
If you have made a mistake with your order, ordered the wrong item or quantity or made any errors with the payment or address, please email firstname.lastname@example.org immediately. We attempt to dispatch orders within 24 hours, so we can only cancel or amend the order if it has not already dispatched. If the order was placed in error, you may return the item to us, and as long as it is received in the same condition it was sent, you will be refunded.
If you have any special requirements regarding your order, for example you do not want the price included on the invoice because it is a present, please email us straight away.

We also sell all of our titles through online booksellers such as Amazon, The Book Depository, Waterstones, Tesco etc. and through wholesalers such as Gardners and Bertrams in the UK, Baker & Taylor and Ingrams in the US. If you would rather buy from Amazon there is a link on the left-hand side of every page for Amazon.co.uk and a link for Amazon.com at the bottom of the Purple Rose page for the American titles.
Click on ‘My Account’ at the very top of every page for access to your registered details and previous orders. Here you can edit your contact details. No payment information is stored in our system.
We accept payment by Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, American Express and Paypal.
You can place your order in GBP, USD or EUR.
All books are posted from the UK using Royal Mail Second Class delivery. This should take 2 days to reach you, however in busy periods it can take up to 1 week. You can select First Class postage at Checkout for an extra 40p per book, this is usually next day delivery from when the book is posted.

All orders are usually sent out within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). If you have a specific need for urgency, please include a note in your order and we will endeavour to have your order in the post the same day (as long as you have placed it before 4pm). Orders placed after 4pm Friday will not usually be posted until Monday.
If you have not received your order within 5 working days if you are within the UK, or 15 working days if you are outside the UK please email email@example.com confirming your order number, date of order and address—forwarding your confirmation email is useful as this contains all of the necessary information. If you are in the UK please also confirm that you have not received any card from Royal Mail saying that they could not deliver. Most orders of 1 or 2 books will fit through a letter box (unless they are large books like The Love Letters of Great Men, and unless the parcel requires a signature). Larger orders will have to be received in person, and therefore if no-one is at home when Royal Mail calls your order will normally be held at your local sorting office for you to pick it up. Royal Mail should leave a card informing you of this, but occassionally they do not, so our first query will be, have you checked your local sorting office?

If you are unhappy with any product you purchase on this website for any reason, you may return it to us in its original condition within 14 working days and we will provide a full refund. If the reason for the return is the result of our error, or if the item was damaged before it reached you, we will refund the postage costs.
Sale or Return: Trade orders can be returned to English Rose Publishing in the UK for a full refund at no additional cost. Although you will not find this option via our distributors, if you order direct from us and return the books to us, we are happy to receive them back and will then sell them on.

How do I find the book I want?
Our search engine makes it easy to find what you’re looking for. You can search for a book or author using our quick search, which appears at the top left-hand side of each page. Click the magnifying glass and you should see a search results page with the information you are looking for.
You can also browse our online catalogue—the Catalogue page shows all of our titles in order of publication date—or by genre in the Category section which appears in the left-hand side of every page.
How do I request a review/desk copy?
To order a review or desk copy of one of our books, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, give us the title you require and information on the university course or publication which the title is required for.
How do I purchase an ebook of one of your titles?
We currently only sell Kindle versions of some of our titles, these are available on Amazon. If you would like an ebook of a title which is not currently available, please email us and we will be able to make this available.
How do I order stock for our bookshop?
Please email email@example.com. We offer excellent discounts (up to 65%) and can supply the books ourselves direct to you/the store/the customer. Alternatively you can order from most suppliers including Gardners and Bertrams in the UK, Baker & Taylor and Ingrams in the US.
Where are your books printed?
Our books are printed either in the UK, US or Australia, depending on where your purchase was made. Did you know that almost all children's books published in the UK and US are printed in China? They are then shipped or flown over. Ours aren't, so buy local!
